Indigo crashed upon launch

I just downloaded the beta version. App crashed upon launch.

My set up:
Macbook Air M2, 2022, Sonoma 14.4.1

When I deleted all the helpers and unload (following the how to uninstall Indigo page), I managed to get to the install Helper tool. As soon as I installed, the app crashed again. I have the full debug crash report if needed.

Hi @rudyaffandi, thanks for the bug report, and sorry it's playing up for you! I'd like to have a look at that crash report — can you email it to hello@indigostack.app?

Is there anything at all you can think of that might be causing it, or that might help me replicate the issue? eg have you ever installed a previous version of Indigo on this Mac?

Indigo Yes I had previously installed Indigo before. Let me see if I can do a complete uninstall. Will report back soon.

If there's any indication in any of the preexisting files as to which version you previously had installed, I'd be very curious — I really can't think of a reason a previous install should cause an issue like this, but it does seem a reasonable theory. Even a guess as to which Indigo version you may have had (eg based on the year & month you might have installed it) might help me replicate the issue.

Indigo It's gotta be around the time you launch the app originally. Hope that helps. Anything else I can try?

Can I just confirm you've followed the full uninstall instructions and the problem still persists?

I've installed an old version of Indigo (1.0.0 rc2 from 20 March 2023, the oldest version I could find) into a VM, then upgraded it in-app to the current version (rc8a) and it worked perfectly, so I don't think I'm going to be able to replicate this unfortunately.

However, I did have a realisation, which was that the uninstallation instructions on the site were actually intended originally for someone wanting to remove Indigo, but not to reinstall a fresh copy. The latter requires an additional step, so I have modified the instructions as needed. I'd be grateful if you get a chance to try them one more time, noting especially the new part e):
