I have been using Indigo for quite a while now (macOS Sonoma) and I must say for me—being the simple guy that I am, when it comes to such things—it is a massive boon. So a big “Thank you” to the team!
With version 1 being out I wanted to go Pro, but recently I have not been able to start Indigo (now am on v1.0.1) correctly. For some time it would start with “Stopping Apache”, rather that starting it and that process would go nowhere.
So I deleted everything related to Indogo (including the saved stacks) and began from scratch.
Now I can get it starting alright, with Apache and PHP seeming to run, but in the browser (tested in latest Firefox, Chrome and Edge as well as Safari 17.5 on macOS Sonoma) I get “Unable to connect. An error occurred during a connection to taped-text.test”.
I also tried “.local” as an alternative to “.test” with the same outcome.
Trying a stack with only Apache didn’t work either.
What I did realize was, that Inidgo has created two “System” stacks, only one of which is running.
The running one is showing the message “The System Stack provides support services. It is automatically configured” when clicked.
The other one shows “There is an issue that must be resolved before the stack can be started: • You must configure at least one Nginx site.”
Both have NGINX REVPROXY in their stack.
Deleting the one that isn’t running deletes both System stacks.
Again, that’s all happening on a clean install of Indigo (as far as I can assess it being entirely cleaned of my system).
Restarting Indgo created a new System stack with NGINX REVPROXY.
But now it is showing “You have not yet defined any sites.”
Still, running the Apache or Apache/PHP stacks leads to showing the same error in the browser, when trying to access pages defined in them.
I have gone through this forum searching for hints and search-engined “Indigo stack Unable to connect in browser” without success.
Please help!
