Thanks for your question. IndigoStack was born out of my own frustrations as a full-stack developer. I have been building and personally using Indigo in various guises on a daily basis in a small team for over two years now and extending it to suit our needs as they arose. I felt that if I was experiencing these frustrations with existing tools then others likely are too, so I decided to share it and get some feedback, iron out any major issues and hopefully create something that others will also find useful.
My own background has touched on pretty much all facets of web development, including sys-admin stuff, right from the early days of the web. Together my wife and I ended up running a Drupal agency, then more recently discovered the joys of Laravel. Juggling the parallel development of multiple sites with different frameworks and infrastructure needs eventually led to IndigoStack. We've been doing what we do for a very long time so we're fully committed 🙂
