Love the simplicity & design. Setting up an Nginx & MySQL stack worked without any issues. Unfortunately, for my usecase of centralising the management I need Postgres & Redis options too.

Some other feature's I'd find useful, ranked:

Postgres & Redis
UI for setting up reverse proxies (e.g for node apps)
Node.js 'server' option which runs/restarts a node program (e.g my usecase for this would be running something like https://cube.dev as a service). You could add this as a site to Nginx to setup reverse proxy automatically.
Menu bar integration to see running stacks and enable/disable. Also useful to have a list of all active sites on running stacks.

0x62 Ha, your bullet point is almost an exact replica of the significant parts of roadmap 🙂

Postgres & Redis — these are currently the next services I'd like to add
the reverse proxy back-end is all fully in place (it's nginx-based) but just not yet exposed in the UI; I thought I'd wait on feedback to see how much demand there'd be for it... so you've got my attention on it now 🙂
I'm interested in thoughts on how best to integrate node.js workflows into Indigo. I've made a separate issue for that.
the menubar integration is a nice idea. ~~Due to the stupid notch I have no more space for more menubar items so I will never implement this.~~ Jokes aside, I'll put it on my todo, it's a good idea 🙂

I think there are two aspects to a node.js integration:

provide access to a range of node versions, as-in, just have the chosen version in your $PATH ready for use
the ability to have a service which starts / stops an arbitrary server (eg https://cube.dev). This would start/stop along with the other services in a stack

When I look at https://volta.sh, I start thinking it feels like the node.js integration could be a bit of a slippery slope — how far should it go? Would it need more than the above bullets?

So just after writing that I went to try creating a stack again, after creating one once then deleting it, and the app crashed on clicking the + icon. Quiting the app and reopening had no effect, nor did rebuilding the system stack.

0x62 Well that's truly strange! The crash report is absolutely helpful, thanks. It's crashing on "addStackButtonClicked" which I haven't seen before.

Can I just confirm, you're not currently able to launch the app any more? 😯

App logs are stored at ~/Library/Logs/com.marmaladesoul.Indigo
Helper logs are stored at /var/log/com.marmaladesoul.IndigoHelper/IndigoHelper.log

I want to second that I'm very excited about this. I've been looking for a tool to set up isolated native environments for a long time! I love the simple UI too.

I'd just like to add my votes for Redis and a menubar option. I tend to leave my stacks running all the time so having the app tucked away in the menubar would be great.

Another couple of services I'd like to vote for are Mailhog and Minio.

Another idea: direct access to config files for different services. E.g: if I want to edit php.ini it would be easier to have a button to open the config file in the default editor or at least to show it in finder.

[later edit] same for webroot - a button/link to show it in finder.
[even later edit] open in terminal for webroot would be good as well.
